Washable, eco friendly, reusable food wraps. 

I work in a school and found that many children still come to school with their lunch packed in clingfilm. After much research I came up with an environmentally-friendly alternative to cling film/foil/ziplock bag enabling you to carry a sandwich until you are ready to eat it, using a food safe PUL. My sandwich wraps are made out of 100% cotton outer and a high-quality foodsafe PUL fabric lining, with a velcro fastening. I had previously used beeswax but found these only good for covering food in the fridge and too sticky and unhygienic for transporting sandwiches. These PUL sandwich wraps are a great alternative as they can be washed time and time again. I personally hand make each item and a lot of care and attention goes into each and every one. 

PUL fabric is safe to store food in, is wipeable, machine-washable, and breathable. You can simply wipe your sandwich wrap down and leave to dry on a dish rack, or load into a delicates bag and throw in the washing machine. Wash dark colours separately. Dimensions are roughly 27x27cm. 

My sandwich wraps are a great size for tucking up your sandwiches and keeping them safe in your lunch bag. They can easily be folded up once the contents have been enjoyed and tucked in a pocket for easy transportation. They come in a variety of fabrics. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: 

Wash at 30 degrees or hand wash, avoid fabric softener, wash dark colours separately. 

Line dry, iron on cotton side not PUL.
